Towing courses are great, even for the most experienced of drivers. Towing a caravan is a completely different
kettle of fish from driving solo, especially when it comes to the skill of reversing.
There is no need to be daunted by the prospect of towing your new caravan - help is at hand from one of the
many towing courses being run up and down the country.
The courses help you become proficient, and confident, when towing your caravan. Both The Caravan Club and
The Camping and Caravanning Club run courses for their members, while tuition is also offered by a number of
independent companies to whom membership is not a pre-requisite of booking yourself onto the course.
Towing courses, sometimes referred to as Manoeuvring courses, are ideal for new caravanners as they help not
only with the technicalities of driving with a caravan attached, but also in ensuring you stay on the right side of
the law. Motorhome courses are also available to help increase awareness and confidence in manoeuvring a
larger vehicle.
