HINTS & TIPS
Keep small bottles of toilet fluid stored under the waste tank in case you ever run out.

Spray a small amount of silicone spray on the lip seal if your waste tank to prolong it’s life.

Attach a tag to the gas cylinder in use before disconnecting the regulator prior to travelling. That way you will
always re-connect the correct cylinder and eliminate the risk of having two nearly empty cylinders at the start of
your holiday.

Always check your wheel studs/nuts every 100 miles, especially if the wheels are been removed.
Take a short trip close to home before your main holiday so any problems can be resolved before your main holiday.

Make sure you always unwind your electric cable fully to prevent it from overheating.

Use a set of bathroom scales and a piece of wood to get your noseweight correct.

Once you have locked ontp your towball, always wind the caravan up via the jockey wheel, if the car lifts then you have a good lock on your towball
and you are ready for the open road.

Watch your speed when towing. Remember you are an articulated vehicle and as such must comply with a maximum speed of 60mph on dual
carriageways and motorways. On all other roads a maximum of 50mph applies unless a lower limit is indicated by signs or street lighting.,Always be
able to stop within the distance you can see to be clear.

Make sure your mobile phone is fully charged, before you leave home, in case of emergencies.

To keep those dreaded midges at bay, hang a camomile tea bags from each of the windows on the outside. You’ll be amazed , it really works!!!

To clean out the awning rail. tie a knot in an old shoe lace. Wet it and pull it through the channel. This means you can clean the channel without
having to buy a brush or stand on steps to reach it.

To stop clothes hangers from falling off, use a piece of foam pipe insulation. It is designed to just snap around pipes and has a slit down one side.
Put this over the rail, then hook the hangers over  the top and they are kept tightly in place throughout your journey.

Always carry a piece of stout rope. If conditions get very wet you can keep the car on the tarmac site road and draw the caravan off without
churning up the grass.
