►Keep small bottles of toilet fluid stored under the waste tank in case you ever run out.
►Spray a small amount of silicone spray on the lip seal if your waste tank to prolong it’s life.
►Attach a tag to the gas cylinder in use before disconnecting the regulator prior to travelling. That way you will
always re-connect the correct cylinder and eliminate the risk of having two nearly empty cylinders at the start of
your holiday.
►Always check your wheel studs/nuts every 100 miles, especially if the wheels are been removed.

►Take a short trip close to home before your main holiday so any problems can be resolved before your main holiday.
►Make sure you always unwind your electric cable fully to prevent it from overheating.
►Use a set of bathroom scales and a piece of wood to get your noseweight correct.
►Once you have locked ontp your towball, always wind the caravan up via the jockey wheel, if the car lifts then you have a good lock on your towball
and you are ready for the open road.
►Watch your speed when towing. Remember you are an articulated vehicle and as such must comply with a maximum speed of 60mph on dual
carriageways and motorways. On all other roads a maximum of 50mph applies unless a lower limit is indicated by signs or street lighting.,Always be
able to stop within the distance you can see to be clear.
►Make sure your mobile phone is fully charged, before you leave home, in case of emergencies.
►To keep those dreaded midges at bay, hang a camomile tea bags from each of the windows on the outside. You’ll be amazed , it really works!!!
►To clean out the awning rail. tie a knot in an old shoe lace. Wet it and pull it through the channel.This means you can clean the channel without
having to buy a brush or stand on steps to reach it.
►To stop clothes hangers from falling off, use a piece of foam pipe insulation. It is designed to just snap around pipes and has a slit down one side.
Put this over the rail, then hook the hangers over the top and they are kept tightly in place throughout your journey.
►Always carry a piece of stout rope. If conditions get very wet you can keep the car on the tarmac site road and draw the caravan off without
churning up the grass.
